Leveraging AI to help you generate informative and emotional LinkedIn Posts can be done in a jiffy. In this article I show you which prompts you should use in order to get ChatGPT to write entertaining organic posts for your Social Media.
LinkedIn is the perfect social media platform to generate engagement and traffic
Of all the social media, LinkedIn is still, in my opinion and experience, the best platform for reaching your audience with ‘old-fashioned’ organic posts.
If you offer value, good info and entertainment, you can provide free traffic to your landing pages with a stream of content. And therefore generate more leads and revenue.
Especially if your target audience belongs to B2B (Business to Business) or under Recruitment Marketing, Employer Branding and HR, LinkedIn is the place to go.
So let’s get started and ask ChatGPT to do our work for us!
How to use ChatGPT to generate LinkedIn Posts
We will have to help ChatGPT a little, directly asking for a LinkedIn post will generate a generic, boring piece of text. So we’ll start as follows:
Generate X number of topics on ( topic)
You can also use the alternative:
Generate X number of titles on (topic)
I used the topic ‘challenges for novice affiliate marketers’ as an example. And then you get the following result:
The next step is to choose the final topic from this list and create a small starting outline.
For this, I use the prompt:
Can you write an outline for number X: (topic) for a blog post.
And in the example we use, it will look like this:
Of course, we are not going to have ChatGPT write a full blog post, but a LinkedIn post. And we’ll do that with the next step.
The last prompt: Writing the actual LinkedIn Post with ChatGPT
Time to let the AI write the actual LinkedIn post. Give a good description of your topic and type in the following prompt:
Can you write a LinkedIn Post of 200 become explaining why choosing the right niche is important as a beginning Affiliate Marketer? Use a friendly, jovial but authoritative tone.
And you’ll see ChatGPT write a fun, entertaining post. Don’t forget to include the tone of voice in your command/prompt. After all, this will help ensure that your post does not become generic and boring. And stand out from your competition.
Edit your text here and there for readability and style. And voila, add a nice image, link to your landing page, hash tags and possibly a mention to friendly connections within your LinkedIn Network. And it is ready to be posted!
Bonustip: Use Emojipedia.org for funny and engaging emoji’s
And a little bonus tip: check out the website https://emojipedia.org/
On this website, you can find many emojis that will make your post more stylish and attractive. Of course, depending on your target audience.
Bonus LinkedIn Example: Fitness Tips for the over-50s
To help you further along the way, I have used a 2nd example: Fitness Tips for men over 50.
So for the first prompt:
generate 5 titles for fitness tips for 50 plus men
And for the 2nd prompt:
Can you write an outline on number 2: “The Over-50 Workout: How to Stay Strong and Flexible” for a blog post?
As you can see, I had a tiny spelling error, but ChatGPT still picked it up correctly.
And finally, the LinkedIn post itself with the final prompt:
Can you write a LinkedIn Post of 200 words explaining “The Over-50 Workout: How to Stay Strong and Flexible”? Use a friendly, and enthusiastic tone
Conclusion
With the tips and prompts in this article you now should be able to create great LinkedIn Posts within a couple of minutes.
For instance, I myself had the tendency to fiddle about when creating organic social media posts. Sometimes it would take me an hour to write a simple company update. Now, with the help of AI, I can write and post an engaging post within 5 to 10 minutes, tops. Underlining that ChatGPT and AI Tools like it are great first and formost for research and increasing your productivity.
